Cambridge Golf Club is fortunate to have a fantastic group of local businesses who support us by way of sponsorship. Most of our sponsors are family owned businesses living and working in our community and their support of the Golf Club is appreciated by the members who support their local businesses.
 
Why Sponsor Cambridge Golf Club?
  • Cambridge Golf Club is the Waikato’s oldest golf club, established in 1900. It has been on the current site since 1924.
  • We have an all-weather course presenting a challenge to golfers at all levels - “Sculptured by the Waikato River 150,000 years ago”. 
  • In the latest stage of the Club’s development we have invested over $100,000 in an upgrade of the Clubrooms and Pro Shop - and further investment in our facilities is under way.
  • It is a vibrant club and, against the national trend, is experiencing increased membership and turnover. Over 400 members, boosted each year by 50 or so summer members.
  • The Club’s Junior Academy is developing over 60 young golfers with recent “graduates” now winning senior club championships and representing Waikato.
  • We have Waikato’s top group of Senior golfers who enjoy the Club’s facilities and comprise the core of the Club’s volunteers helping to maintain the course and gardens. There are about 80 Senior members with about 40 of them turning out in any week.
